We are working hard to get ready for another great summer in 2024!
Camp Zena is a fun and engaging children's day camp nestled in the woods of Woodstock, NY. A typical day includes an array of fun and engaging activities such as swimming, tennis, field sports, backyard games, crafts, and nature walks for children aged 5-12 years. Swimming and tennis lessons are available to add onto camp sessions.

Meet our Camp Director!
Hi everyone! My name is Sara Hermance and I'm so excited to be the Camp Director this summer at Camp Zena! I am currently in my last year of college for Early Childhood/ Childhood Education and I’ve always had a passion for working with kids. I started babysitting in high school which sparked my love of childcare, and soon after I began working as a counselor at Rosendale Day Camp before coming to Zena! In my time off of college I substitute teach at Rondout Valley Intermediate and Middle school, so I’ve had experiences with many age groups! I love creating fun activities for kids that get them moving around and having fun. I can’t wait to meet everyone and make this summer amazing for our campers!

Summer 2024 Weekly Schedule
Week 1 - July 1-5 -- No camp on July 4th or 5th
Week 2 - July 8-12
Week 3 - July 15-19
Week 4 - July 22-26
Week 5 - July 29-August 2
Week 6 - August 5-9
Week 7 - August 12-16
Week 8 - August 19-23
Registration for 2024 will go live for non-members in mid to late April!

Costs and Optional Add-ons
Costs
- Zena Rec Park Members - $250 per week
- Non-members - $350 per week
- Group Swimming lessons: (30-minute sessions; must sign up for 2 consecutive weeks of camp for swim lessons)
- Weekly Group Tennis lessons: (30-50 minute sessions according to age group; must bring own tennis racket and wear athletic sneakers)
- Weekly Aftercare: available from 4pm to 5:30pm -- sign up for aftercare on your Camp Zena registration form!
SAMPLE DAILY SCHEDULE

What should I pack for my camper?
- Bathing suit
- Towel
- Change of clothes
- Slip on shoes (ex. Crocs, sandals, water shoes)
- Sunscreen and bug spray
- Water bottle
- Bagged lunch ** (morning and afternoon snacks provided by Camp Zena - ex: pretzels, granola bars, popcorn, goldfish etc.)
